Covering the South Carolina Equestrian Team taught me what it truly means to cover a team, that so many moments happen outside of the ring. I learned how to see the emotion between horse and rider and how to make the viewer feel the power in that silence, and the celebration in a sport not many people see.

As both team photographer and lead creative, I focused on capturing not just competition, but connection. The bond, the discipline, and the unspoken communication that drives this sport. Every photo is about trust and timing, showing the athletes’ precision and the horses’ power working as one.
