Saturdays in South CArolina
At the beginning of the 2025 season, I came up with an idea of creating a in-venue video for the South Carolina football team that captured what makes being a Gamecock fan and Saturdays truly special.
The purpose
Starting all the way back at the beginning of the football season I had to come up with what questions I thought fans would most resinate with because that was where I was going to build this video from. Weeks later after gathering plenty of interviews I started putting this project together on my timeline and seeing where it would take me.
The process
After weeks of prep, stepping back, and diving in again, I’ve created something I’m truly proud of. It weaves together moments from not only this past season, but the last few years, showing the full story of what it means to be a Gamecock.

The purpose
I began by pulling clips that captured the grit, confidence, and swagger this team brings to the plate. Choosing the right music became the centerpiece of the process, it needed to feel like walking up to the plate with the crowd behind you. Once the song clicked, the edit fell into place.
This video was made to build energy and anticipation before each at-bat during the 2025 home softball season. It was designed to hype up the crowd and the players as they stepped to the bat.

This piece tells the story of a team no one expected to win, and how they came together to make history. It shows how every point matters and intensity of their run to the SEC title.
The purpose
Since I was shooting both photo and video on my own, every moment had to be captured with purpose. I didn’t have the luxury of endless footage, so the edit became about selecting the shots that carried the most heart, celebrations, connections, and turning points. The story comes through in the intensity of those moments.
The process
The finished video honors the energy and emotion of that weekend, from focused intensity to the joy of winning it all. It’s meant to feel personal, proud, and unforgettable.
